The City Government of Yogyakarta through the Department of Industry, Trade Cooperatives and Agriculture city of Yogyakarta have set up IDR 3.7 billion fund as a stimulant for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs/UMKM) and business group of industry, trade, and agricultural cooperatives.
Head of Yogyakarta Department of Industry, Trade Cooperatives and Agriculture, Heru Men Warjaka, on Wednesday (01/23/2013) explains, when compared to the year 2012, the budget grant funds are used as a stimulant are impaired. These include, Regional Economic Development fund (PEW) allocated to 225 group. The group is comprised of a group that submitted a proposal and has not qualified for the previous fiscal year.
In addition, the stimulus funding is also provided for the development of the traditional market in 14 districts in Yogyakarta each IDR 10 million.
“Previous to reach IDR 4 billion, but is now down to IDR 3.7 billion. However it has been adjusted by the number of proposals that have been submitted formally to our department,” said Heru in reported by Antara.
Originally, the stimulus funds will be disbursed in the first half of 2013. This is in accordance with the Circular of the Mayor called for the acceleration of Revenue and Expenditure (Budget) 2013.
